Cut Knife Report Nov. 24 to 30
The Cut Knife RCMP received 40 calls for service from Nov. 24 to 30. These files included well-being checks, reports of disturbances, reports of traffic offences, mischief, assault, assault with weapon, breach of peace, failure to comply with orders, theft of vehicle, uttering threats, harassing communication, collision, theft, and assisting other agencies.

On Nov. 28, Cut Knife RCMP acted on information received from Interpol regarding social media conversations suggesting a potential threat in the community. The party involved was located. The investigation determined there was no credible threat.
On Nov. 24, Cut Knife RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Highway 40 west of the Highway 29 junction. Members seized two boxes of unstamped cigarettes as well as approximately 60g of illicit drugs. This matter is still under investigation.
On Nov. 25, Cut Knife RCMP and other emergency services responded to a vehicle rollover complaint just west of Cut Knife. On arrival, it was determined that the vehicle did not roll, but did hit the ditch. Occupants had minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for further assessment.
On Nov. 26, members attended a traffic collision involving two semi-trucks on Highway 40. The collision was attributed to limited visibility. No injuries were reported, and both vehicles were towed to ensure road safety.
Eighteen traffic Stops were made, resulting in tickets, warnings and a roadside suspension being issued. Members responded to two Mental Health Act calls.
Members also attended the Little Pine Talent Show. Although they did not have any talent to show off, the event was enjoyed by the members in attendance.
With Christmas around the corner, the RCMP remind the public to think about theft prevention. "Don’t leave valuables in your vehicle… unless you want to give a thief an early Christmas," the RCMP release said.
Unity Report – Nov. 25 to Dec. 1
RCMP received a complaint of sexual assault. This matter is still under investigation.
Police received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.
Members acted as mediators in a property dispute.
RCMP received two complaints of break-and-enters at separate residences, but both were unfounded.
Police are investigating a complaint of criminal harassment.
Members received another complaint of theft, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in a rural area near Senlac. Reported for information purposes.
RCMP received a complaint of an individual not complying with an undertaking condition, but it was unfounded.
Police received a complaint of stolen fuel from a rural area near Unity. This matter is still under investigation.
There was also one traffic complaint and one false 911 call.
Wilkie Report
RCMP received a complaint of an individual damaging a vehicle tire, but it was unfounded.
Police received a report of a two-vehicle collision. There were no injuries. This matter is still under investigation.
Members received a complaint of theft, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
RCMP received a complaint of uttering threats, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
Members received a complaint of fraud, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battleford Union Hospital for assessment.
RCMP received a report of an unwanted individual at a residence. Members attended, but the subject of complaint was gone on arrival.
Members received a report of attempted theft of fuel from a rural area near Wilkie. This matter is still under investigation.
Police received another complaint of an unwanted individual at a residence. This matter is still under investigation.
RCMP received a complaint of an individual not complying with a condition of a court order, but it was unfounded.
There were also two traffic complaints.
Macklin Report
RCMP received a complaint of trespassing, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
Police received a complaint of assault. This matter is still under investigation.
Members received a report of an intoxicated individual near a residence. Members were unable to attend. No further issues were reported.
RCMP received a complaint of assault. This matter is still under investigation.
Members acted as mediators in a dispute between two adults.
