SWIFT CURRENT – Two people have been charged in a drug trafficking investigation in Swift Current.
On Dec. 2, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Swift Current Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team (STRT) executed search warrants at two residences in Swift Current as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. The search warrants were executed on 4 Avenue Southeast and Central Avenue South.
During the search of the residences, Swift Current STRT located and seized approximately 51 grams of suspected cocaine and drug trafficking paraphernalia. The substance will be sent to Health Canada for further testing. Officers arrested two males and two females at the scenes of the search warrants.
As a result of continued investigation, a 39-year-old man and 40-year-old woman, both from Swift Current, are each charged with:
- one count, trafficking – cocaine; and
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine.
The other male and female were later released without charges.
The two accused are scheduled to appear in Swift Current Provincial Court on Feb. 11, 2026.
