Premier Scott Moe shuffled cabinet Thursday morning and one of changes is in the Ministry of Agriculture.
Daryl Harrison is out of cabinet altogether and David Marit steps back in as Agriculture Minister and Minister Responsible for the Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation.
Harrison had been the Agriculture Minister for one year. A news release says Harrison is expected serve as chair of a legislative committee.
It's the second time Marit has been in charge of the Ag Portfolio. He previously served from 2018 to November of last year.
Placed in the role of Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Agriculture is James Thorsteinson, MLA for Cut Knife-Turtleford. He is one of eight Legislative Secretaries named by the Premier.
The shuffle overall had four MLA's become Ministers for the first time, eight remaining in their current roles, and four who remain in Cabinet but in different roles.
