RM OF WILLOW CREEK – The Melfort RCMP are investigating after three dogs were stolen sometime on Dec. 2 in the RM of Willow Creek.
Three large dogs were taken from the owner's yard and have not returned or been found.
The dog breed is Central Asian Shepherds and are extremely valuable, not a common breed and hard to come by.
The dogs were wearing GPS collars, are micro-chipped and have identification tattoos.
If these dogs are located, they will easily be identified as the ones that were taken from the rural property.
The investigation has indicated that the dogs were more than likely taken from the property rather than leaving themselves.
If anybody has information on this theft, they are asked to contact the Melfort RCMP at (306) 752-6420. Thank you for your attention to this. S/Sgt. Ryan Case.
If you have information related to this advisory, call 310-RCMP for immediate response, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
