COCHIN – Battlefords RCMP are asking the public to report sightings and information on the whereabouts of wanted woman 29-year-old Raylene Sewap.
On Dec. 14 at approximately 2:20 p.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of a robbery outside of a business on Highway 4, near Cochin.
Officers immediately responded. The investigation determined a woman assaulted a man and demanded money. The man was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.
As a result of the continued investigation, Raylene Sewap has been charged with:
– one count, aggravated assault;
– one count, robbery with a weapon; and
– one count, carrying a concealed weapon.
Sewap is described as:
- Height: 5 ft 6 in.
- Weight: approximately 180 lbs.
- Eye colour: brown
- Hair colour: black
- Other descriptors: small teardrop tattoo under her eye.
She was last seen in a grey Ford Explorer.
Battelfords RCMP continue to investigate.
