LA LOCHE — La Loche RCMP charged a man in relation to an aggravated assault that occurred in La Loche on the morning of Dec. 12.
On Dec. 12 at approximately 7 a.m., La Loche RCMP received a report of an injured man at a residence on Marie Street in La Loche.
Officers immediately responded, along with local EMS. The investigation determined an altercation occurred between two men at the residence. During the altercation, one of the men was injured. The victim was taken to hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious in nature. The other man was arrested at the residence.
A 65-year-old man, from La Loche, is charged with one count, aggravated assault.
He is scheduled to appear in La Loche Provincial Court on Dec. 18.
