REGINA — Update: Shortly before 7:40 am, police were called to an area near the intersection of Kress Street and Longman Crescent, for a report that a vehicle had struck a person walking on the street. Further investigation revealed a pick-up truck hit a female pedestrian walking on Kress Street, and immediately called police. Injuries are believed to be life-threatening at this time.
A section of Kress Street and Longman Crescent was closed for several hours, while Regina Police Service collision investigators were on scene. At this time the roadway has re-opened to all traffic.
Police say at this time the investigation continues and updates will be provided as they become available.
