REGINA — All five people charged in connection with the shooting of an 11-year-old girl remain in custody.
The accused are Michael Mayer, 20, Amber Jensen, 29, Noah Pollock-Mayer, 18, Anthony Nahbexie, 20, and Devon Nahbexie, 18.
Devon Nahbexie appeared in Regina Provincial Court on Dec. 23. Anthony Nabexie is scheduled to appear on Jan. 8, 2026. Both face charges of attempted murder, reckless discharge of a firearm, conspiracy to commit murder, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, and possession of stolen property over $5,000.
Mayer is expected back in court on Jan. 9, 2026. His charges include attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, reckless discharge of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and two counts of possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
Pollock-Mayer is also scheduled to appear on Jan. 9, 2026. He is charged with conspiracy to commit murder, failing to comply with release conditions, and conspiracy to commit murder.
Jensen is set to appear in court on Dec. 29. She is charged with accessory after the fact and conspiracy to commit murder.
The charges stem from a Regina Police Service investigation into an Aug. 11 shooting. Officers were called to a home in the 1000 block of Edgar Street in the Eastview neighbourhood shortly after 2 a.m. When they arrived, they found an 11-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to hospital by EMS with serious injuries.
