REGINA — An 18-year-old teen accused of driving into two pedestrians in southeast Regina was back in court on Dec. 10 and his matters were adjourned.
Kartik Deswal is now scheduled to return to Regina Provincial Court on March 9, 2026, where his charges are expected to be spoken to.
His charges stem from an incident on June 14 when Regina police were called to the 1400 block of Kramer Boulevard for reports of a vehicle collision with injuries. Police say there was an alteration among several people when a vehicle suddenly drove into the group, striking two people before crashing into a tree.
Deswal is charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm, failing to stop after an accident resulting in bodily harm, and dangerous driving.
Police say he fled the scene but later returned.
Deswal isn’t in custody.
