RM OF WREFORD – Saskatchewan RCMP are investigating a fatal collision in the RM of Wreford.
On Jan. 7, 2026, around 7:20 p.m., Watrous RCMP received a report of a collision on Highway 15, in the RM of Wreford.
Humboldt RCMP officers were working in the area and responded, along with local fire, EMS and STARS. The investigation determined a car collided with a moose.
The sole driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead by EMS at the scene.
He has been identified as a 34-year-old man, from George Gordon First Nation. His family has been notified.
