UNITY — On Jan. 8, Unity RCMP received reports of break and enters to seven Unity businesses, with many reporting stolen cash. Minimal damage to the businesses was reported to police.
Investigation has determined the same unknown male is involved in the incidents. The suspect is described as having a large build, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, black shoes, and a black face covering. RCMP believe he was walking through the town with a crowbar, and we are asking residents of Unity to check their security cameras or doorbell footage from Jan. 8, between midnight and 4 a.m. and report anything suspicious to police.
Anyone with information about these incidents, or who recognizes the individual in the photos, is asked to call Unity RCMP by dialling 310-RCMP. Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
