REGINA — A major snowstorm in Toronto is impacting flights to and from Regina.
Environment Canada has forecasted Toronto could receive upwards of 30-35 cm of snow by day's end Thursday.
The winter weather has led to an Air Canada flight from Regina to Toronto scheduled to depart at 1:40 p.m. being cancelled, according to Regina Airport’s dashboard.
“Airline operations are impacted by a significant winter storm hitting parts of Ontario and Quebec,” said Air Canada on X.
“Please check your flight status before going to the airport via the Air Canada app,” they added.
Both Air Canada and WestJet operate flights between Regina and Toronto.
On their website, WestJet has posted a winter storm advisory for southern Ontario.
As of 12 p.m., no other flights between Toronto and Regina have posted any delays or cancellations.
Two more flights are scheduled to depart from Toronto on Thursday night.
