The Ag Transport Coalition reports week 23 saw performance deteriorate slightly, on the heels of two consecutive weeks of improvement, but remains good with CN and CPKC Rail combined, supplying 90% of hopper cars ordered.
This represents a decline from the 94% order fulfillment performance seen in week 22.
System performance remains at or above the 90% performance threshold for a second straight week.
In supplying 86% of cars ordered by shippers in week 23, CN saw performance decline notably from the 95% order fulfillment performance seen in week 22.
CN performance falls below the 90% threshold for the first time in three weeks.
In supplying 94% of shipper orders, CPKC saw performance improve slightly from the 93% order fulfillment performance seen in week 22.
CPKC performance remains above the 90% performance threshold for a second straight week.
