SASKATOON — Police have charged a 27-year-old woman following a domestic incident in the city’s Massey Place neighbourhood Thursday morning.
Officers were called around 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 29 to an apartment in the 10 block of Maxwell Crescent. It was reported that a woman was armed with knives and a blowtorch, and threatening another occupant of the suite before she fled out a window.
Patrol units contained the area and located the suspect a short time later in the 1000 block of Matheson Drive where she was taken into custody after a taser was used.
The woman was charged with assault with a weapon and uttering death threats.
Police say no one was physically injured in the incident.
