Robert Eric Semenchuk pleaded guilty to breach of trust and unauthorized use of a computer. He was charged following an RPS investigation.
According to an RPS media release, police were made aware of the allegations in early 2023 after a member of the public brought concerns to the police.
Semenchuk, a 22-year-veteran of the force, was criminally charged in March 2025 and his access to police databases were suspended.
