The Ag Transport Coalition says week 26 saw performance decline for a second consecutive week.
CN and CPKC Rail combined supplied 79% of hopper cars ordered, down from 88% in week 25 equalling the second worst performance of the year, last seen in week 20.
System performance remains below the 90% performance threshold for a second straight week.
In supplying 72% of cars ordered by shippers in week 26 CN saw performance decline from the 78% order fulfillment performance seen in week 25, with the railway posting its worst performance since week 5 in early September.
CN performance remains below the 90% threshold for a second straight week and for the third time in the last four weeks.
Meanwhile, in supplying 86% of shipper orders, CPKC saw performance decline notably from the 98% order fulfillment performance seen in week 25.
This marks the worst performance seen from CPKC since week 21 in December when they posted the same performance.
CPKC performance falls below the 90% performance threshold for the first time in five weeks.
