SASKATOON — The Saskatoon Police Service has arrested an individual who was recently the subject of a public safety advisory.
On Feb. 14 at around 7 p.m., Kyle Hameluck, 37, was arrested in the 200 block of 1st Avenue South for breaching the conditions of his release, say police.
Feb. 11, the Saskatoon Police Service alerted the public regarding the release from custody of a man previously convicted of 70 incidents of voyeurism, indecent acts and trespassing at night.
Kyle Ronald Hameluck, 37, was to be released from the Saskatoon Provincial Correctional Centre on Feb. 14, said police, and he was expected to reside in Saskatoon. There were court-imposed conditions in place, but in an abundance of caution and concern about Hameluck’s potential to re-offend, the SPS released his name and photo.
He was described as is 5 foot 10 and 155 pounds, with balding brown hair and green eyes. He has several tattoos of mushrooms and one of railroad tracks.
Several court-imposed conditions had been set for Hameluck, including that he must remain inside an approved residence between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., abstain from the possession of drugs not prescribed by a doctor, not to contact directly, or indirectly, any past victims, and not possess or use any cell phone or digital devices that have the capability of taking photographs or videos.
Police did not say what condition or conditions had been breached.
Hameluck is set to appear in Provincial Court on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
