REGINA — Frost Regina 2026 is heading into its second weekend.
The winter festival will be taking place from Feb. 13-16. Last week, several events were cancelled due to above-seasonal weather, including skating at multiple hubs and crokicurl.
Jennifer Johnson, the city’s deputy manager of tourism, said organizers had anticipated warmer weather impacting outdoor events.
“We created a whole bunch of indoor and outdoor opportunities just in case.”
She added, “If the weather doesn’t co-operate and it’s too warm and things like the skating rinks melt, that’s okay because there are lots of indoor activities.”
According to Frost Regina’s website, crokicurl at the Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) is the only event currently closed until further notice.
Events this weekend include:
- Frost Tails Downtown (Feb. 13);
- Joylab at Cornwall Centre (Feb. 13-16);
- Wascana Winter Festival (Feb. 13-16);
- Frost Circuit (Feb. 13-14);
