REGINA — City of Regina has released its service schedule for the Family Day holiday on Monday, Feb. 16.
Civic offices will be closed for the day.
The city landfill will remain open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with entry gates closing at 5:15 p.m.
Waste collection services, including garbage, recycling and food and yard waste, will operate on their regular schedules.
Regina Transit will run on a Sunday schedule. The transit information centre and RIDELine will be closed. Paratransit service will operate on a holiday schedule from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery and Regina Cemetery offices will be closed, but gates will remain open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Several city leisure facilities will be open with adjusted hours. The North West Leisure Centre and Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre will be open from noon to 6 p.m. The Sportplex Fieldhouse and Lawson Aquatic Centre will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Parking meters will not be in effect on Family Day.
Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and check city services in advance of the holiday.
