SASKATOON — Kyle Ronald Hameluck appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Feb. 17 and was remanded. He is scheduled to return to court on Feb. 19 for a bail hearing.
Hameluck was arrested by Saskatoon police on Feb. 14 after he became the subject of a public safety advisory. Officers took the 37-year-old into custody around 7 p.m. in the 200 block of 1st Avenue South, where police say he was found breaching the conditions of his release.
He had been released from the Saskatoon Provincial Correctional Centre earlier that same day and was expected to reside in Saskatoon, according to police.
The Saskatoon Police Service issued a public advisory regarding his release, saying he was convicted of 70 incidents of voyeurism, indecent acts and trespassing at night. Police said that, out of an abundance of caution and concern about his potential to re-offend, they were releasing his name and photo.
