REGINA — The return of Regina’s largest rock weekend is bringing some big names to the Queen City.
Sugar Ray and Smash Mouth headline the two-day Shake the Lake festival happening Aug. 21-22.
On the first day Sugar Ray will perform along with Honeymoon Suite, Barney Bentall & the Legendary Hearts.
Meanwhile, Smash Mouth, 54.40, Headpins, and Wide Mouth Mason will take the stage the second day.
For the two days, gates will open at 3 p.m. outdoors at Conexus Arts Centre.
According to the event’s website, 945 early-bird general admission weekend passes will go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. A premium seating weekend pass option will also be available on Friday.
Shake the Lake first started in 2018, with the event running every year since, except 2020 due to the pandemic.
Last year, an estimated 7,000 people came to the festival.
