Update:
SASKATCHEWAN — A winter storm that blasted Saskatchewan on Feb. 17 and 18 caused considerable issues for highways in Saskatchewan.
According to the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure's Highway Hotline, travel is still not recommended for some highways in the northeast, including the Melfort and Tisdale areas.
Highways in the Saskatoon area are classified as partially covered or bare, while those around Regina are listed as partially covered or covered.
Visibility has also improved, with only a few areas reporting reduced visibility.
The weather warnings directly associated with the storm have been lifted, An extreme cold warning has been issued for parts of the province.
