SASKATOON — A woman accused of working as an unlicensed immigration consultant had her first scheduled appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Feb. 18. The matter was adjourned to March 17, when Jun Su is expected to enter a plea.
Su was charged last month for allegedly providing immigration services or recruitment services without a license between Jan. 20, 2025, and July 4, 2025, at or near Saskatoon.
This is the first time charges have been laid against an unlicensed consultant in Saskatchewan, according to the Saskatchewan Government. The Immigration Services Act, enacted in the province in 2024, is the most comprehensive program integrity framework in the country, including the highest fines for violation in Canada.
