Methamphetamine, cocaine and weapons seized in Meadow Lake

MEADOW LAKE — Meadow Lake CRT have charged two people after seizing cocaine and crack from a residence.

In late December, Meadow Lake RCMP seized methamphetamine, cocaine and weapons at a residence in Meadow Lake.

Two people were arrested, including a male released on conditions that allowed police officers to search his person, vehicle or residence if they had reasonable suspicion he may be in possession of a controlled substance. Based on the investigation, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Meadow Lake Crime Reduction Team (CRT) searched a residence on 7 Street E. in Meadow Lake on Feb. 20.

Officers located and seized:

– approximately 135 grams of cocaine;

– approximately 19 grams of crack cocaine;

– about 240 pharmaceutical-style pills;

– a sum of cash; and

– trafficking paraphernalia.

A man and woman were arrested at the residence. The woman provided a false name to police at the time of her arrest.

As a result of the continued investigation, a 28-year-old man, from Meadow Lake, is charged with:

– one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking;

– one count, possession of the property of crime under $5,000; and

– two counts, fail to comply with undertaking.

A 21-year-old woman, from Meadow Lake, is charged with:

– one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking;

– one count, possession of the property of crime under $5,000; and

– one count, obstruct peace officer.

She was also arrested on a warrant for charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking related to the same late December 2025 drug seizure in Meadow Lake.

The two suspects were scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on Feb. 23.
