Kathy Ingram knows fundraising for the community is a vital part of what Souls Harbour Rescue Mission does. Finding the right event that is engaging, fun and worthy of donations can be challenging. So why not do something that gets community members involved in making food for those in need.
Teams come together in the commercial kitchen at Souls Harbour to prepare their chili. Each team has their chili judged by the celebrity judging panel. The bragging rights are currently held by Westridge Construction. The team is back to defend their title. What do you think?; will the team be dethroned by another top-notch chili team?
The public can get involved with a simple click onto the Souls Harbour Rescue Mission website. Funding for the 10,000 meals can be an office project, something that your family can help work toward. A donation of $48.10 supplies 10 people with a meal. And as Easter season is upon us, help Souls Harbour give hope to the most vulnerable.
