MOOSE JAW — A 31-year-old man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking after a residence was searched in Regina.
On Feb. 11, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Moose Jaw Crime Reduction Team (CRT) obtained a search warrant and searched a residence on James Hill Road in Regina as part of an ongoing investigation. Regina Police Service SWAT assisted.
Officers located and seized more than 400 pharmaceutical-style tablets, about 30 grams of unknown powders that will undergo further testing, ammunition and trafficking paraphernalia.
Four individuals were arrested at the residence. As a result of continued investigation, the 31-year-old man is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (hydromorphone), possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of possession of a weapon contrary to an order, and failing to comply with a probation order.
He is scheduled to appear in Regina Provincial Court on April 8, 2025 (Information
Another man arrested was wanted on warrants from Regina Police Service. The other two individuals were released without charge.
Police say the investigation continues.
