SASKATOON — A 31-year-old man is facing multiple charges after a robbery at a liquor store on Tuesday evening.
Police were called around 6:45 p.m. on Feb. 24 to a store in the 300 block of Shillington Crescent, where a man entered, threatened staff with a knife and fled with a bottle of liquor. Officers located the suspect a short distance away and arrested him.
According to police, further investigation linked the same man to two additional robberies, one in the 1600 block of 33rd Street West earlier in the day, and another in the 500 block of Wellman Crescent on Feb. 21.
He is charged with robbery, possession of a dangerous weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, and breaching court-imposed conditions.
