REGINA — The Regina Police Service, the Saskatchewan Coroners Service and Regina Fire and Protective Services are investigating a house fire in the 1300 block of Wascana Street where one person was found dead.
On Sunday, March 1, at approximately 5:15 am. Police and firefighters were dispatched to a residence in the 1300 block of Wascana Street for the report of a possible house fire. Police say tat at the time of the call, information received was that an adult male was located in a residence and was thought to possibly be deceased.
The deceased individual has been identified and a next of kin has been notified. Further investigation into the circumstances of the death are continuing at this time, say police.
Regina Fire and Protective Services says searches were conducted and there were no other injuries reported.
