UNITY — The Unity RCMP responded to the following calls during the week of Feb. 24 to March 2.
RCMP received a complaint of a sexual assault. This matter is still under investigation.
A 41-year-old male from Unity was charged with operation while prohibited during a traffic stop.
CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in a rural area near Unity. Reported for information purposes.
A 58-year-old male from Salvador was charged with assault after members received a complaint of a neighbour dispute.

Police received a report of an individual walking on the highway. Members spoke to the subject of complaint earlier in the day. No further police action required.
Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a concerned citizen.
RCMP received a complaint of an individual knocking on a residence door, opening the door and subsequently leaving in a vehicle. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.
Police received a complaint of fraud, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
RCMP received a complaint of a firearm in a vehicle. Members located the subject of complaint and confirmed no firearm was in the vehicle.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Unity Health Centre for assessment.
There were also two traffic complaints, one false alarm and one false 911 call.
