SASKATOON — A 27-year-old woman is facing an assault charge after Saskatoon police were called to a home in Confederation Park late Tuesday night for a report of an injured person.
Officers responded around 10:30 p.m. on March 3 to a home in the 3000 block of Laurier Drive. A 24-year-old woman at the home told police she had been assaulted with a knife at a home in the 800 block of Confederation Drive. She fled that location and sought help at the Laurier Drive home.
Police located the 27-year-old suspect a short time later.
The victim’s injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
