SWIFT CURRENT — Romana Didulo, the self-proclaimed Queen of Canada, phoned in to Swift Current Provincial court Wednesday afternoon for pre-trial discussions.
A further date for more pre-trial discussion was set for March 18.
The preliminary hearing for Didulo is still scheduled for April 13-17 at the courthouse in Swift Current.
Ricky Manz, the former owner of Richmond school, the site where Didulo was arrested, was also scheduled to appear in Swift Current Provincial court Wednesday. However, his case was adjourned until March 18.
Manz still faces several charges from his involvement in connection with the Kingdom of Canada group, including failure to comply with an undertaking, failure to comply with a release order, and intimidation of a justice system participant.
Romana Didulo faces one count of failure to comply with undertaking conditions and one count of intimidation of a justice system participant.
Last September, both Manz and Didulo were among 16 people arrested with five ultimately charged from incidents to do with the former Richmond school complex.
