REGINA — After 13 months of planning, an oversized haul trekking through Saskatchewan has finally reached its destinations.
On their social media, Highway Hotline confirmed the log house and garage made it safe to an area near Strasbourg.
“The oversized log house and garage have made it to their new home. Thank you for your patience and support,” said Highway Hotline.
The journey for the haul began last Wednesday, after it moved from south of Lajord, crossing Highway 1 and Highway 10 before stopping before Highway 6.
Due to road conditions, the haul didn’t move on Thursday and resumed its move on Friday up Highway 6.
On Monday, the haul made its final move across Highway 220 before heading north towards west of Strasbourg.
According to the Ministry of Highways, roughly 20 to 30 people helped with the move.
Neufeld Building Movers managed the haul’s move.
