DUNDURN – The public's help is being sought by Saskatoon RCMP in identifying a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run collision earlier this week south of the city.
Officers were called to a collision on Highway 219 in the Rural Municipality of Dundurn around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10. According to the RCMP, an SUV that was travelling north on the highway was struck from behind by a truck. The truck did not stop and continued northbound on Highway 219.
The force of the impact caused the SUV to leave the roadway and come to a stop in a ditch, sustaining damage. No injuries were reported, say police.
Investigators believe the truck involved in the collision may be a black Ford F-150 or a Dodge Ram.
Saskatoon RCMP say the investigation is ongoing and are asking anyone with information about the collision to contact police by calling 310-RCMP.
Information can also be provided anonymously through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS or submitting a tip online.
