Police arrest wanted man in Pelican Narrows

PELICAN NARROWS — Update, March 17: Pelican Narrows RCMP are reporting they have arrested wanted man Solomon Custer on March 10 in Pelican Narrows.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Pelican Narrows on March 24.

Original post, Feb. 18: Pelican Narrows RCMP is asking the public to report sightings and information about the whereabouts of wanted man 28-year-old Solomon Custer.

On Feb. 17 at approximately 12:50 p.m., Pelican Narrows RCMP executed an arrest warrant at a residence in Pelican Narrows.

Officers arrested Solomon Custer. He was wanted on warrant by Pelican Narrows RCMP for charges including breach of court-ordered conditions, assault, and robbery. These charges were laid in relation to two separate investigations in Pelican Narrows in the last two months.

While Solomon Custer was being escorted to the police vehicle, he ran away from the officer.

Pelican Narrows RCMP have been searching for him and checking places he is known to frequent and following up on information received.

Officers continue searching for him and ask the public to report all sightings and information on his whereabouts.

Custer is described as approximately 5’ 11” and 155 lbs. He has brown eyes and black hair. He has teardrop and cross tattoos on his face and a design across his neck. He was last seen in a dark coloured shirt and joggers.

He has connections to the Pelican Narrows area, but his current whereabouts are unknown.
