Update: SASKATOON — Saskatoon police say the unidentified person who was found dead outside at around 6 a.m. on March 9 in the 100 block of 29th Street West has been identified.
The Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section would like to thank members of the public and the media for their assistance during this investigation.
Original story: Saskatoon police are asking the public’s help identifying a man who was found dead outside in the Caswell Hill area, in the 100 block of 29th Street West around 6 a.m. on March 9.
Police say the deceased is a Caucasian male between the ages of 55 and 70 with an average build and short dyed blond hair. He has hazel eyes, a small scar on the top of his nose, and is missing most teeth.
The man’s clothing size is large and he was found wearing a black H&M jacket with black framed glasses in the left pocket, black boots, a black zip up hoodie, dark jeans, blue boxers, and a blue t-shirt. He also had a pair of sunglasses that were missing a lens in his possession. There was no identification located on the deceased.
The circumstances of the man’s death are not believed to be suspicious in nature. Anyone with information that could assist with identifying the man is asked to contact police at 306-975-8300.
