The Ag Transport Coalition reports that on the heels of some improvement in week 31, week 32 saw system performance decline.
CN and CPKC Rail combined supplied 67% of hopper cars ordered, a decline from the 72% performance seen in week 31.
System performance remains below the 90% performance threshold for an eighth consecutive week and below the 80% threshold for a seventh consecutive week.
In supplying 77% of cars ordered by shippers in week 32, CN saw performance decline from the 83% order fulfillment performance seen in week 31.
CN performance remains below the 90% threshold for an eighth straight week and for the ninth time in the last ten weeks.
Meanwhile, in supplying 60% of shipper orders, CPKC saw performance decline from the 62% order fulfillment performance seen in week 31.
CPKC performance remains below the 90% performance threshold for a seventh consecutive week, and below the 80% threshold for a sixth straight week.
