SASKATOON — Police are investigating after bear spray was released on a city bus Saturday evening downtown.
Saskatoon police officers were called around 8:25 p.m. on March 21 to the area of 22nd Street East and 1st Avenue North following reports that someone had discharged bear spray inside the bus. When officers arrived, they found two females suffering from the effects. Paramedics treated both on scene.
Investigators determined the suspects had fled before police arrived. Patrol members searched the surrounding area but weren’t able to locate them.
