SASKATOON — Police are investigating after a 31-year-old man was shot during what investigators believe was an attempted robbery in a west-side garage Monday evening.
Officers were called to the King George neighbourhood in the 600 block of Avenue I South at about 6:50 p.m. on March 23, where they found the victim suffering from serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics took him to hospital.
According to Saskatoon police learned a male suspect had attended the garage and police say attempted to rob the victim when a physical altercation ensued and the suspect discharged a firearm towards the victim. The suspect fled prior to police arrival.
