SASKATOON — Police have made an arrest following a confrontation on a city bus Wednesday.
At around 10:30 a.m. on March 25, police were called to a stationary city bus in the 200 block of 23rd Street East for a report of a confrontation involving a weapon. When they arrived, officers located the involved parties and determined that a confrontation had occurred between them. No injuries were reported but one of those involved was found to be in possession of a hatchet.
As a result, the 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace and unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon.
