REGINA — Regina firefighters were on the scene of a house fire on the 600 block of Princess Street Saturday afternoon.
Regina Fire and Protective Services says crews were met by heavy smoke and fire on arrival. The fire was quickly brought under control.
Searches were completed. No injuries were reported, and one cat was rescued. The fire is under investigation.
The same afternoon, crews responded to the 1600 block of Garnet St. at 4:45 p.m. They arrived to a fully involved shed fire, an extension to the adjacent house. The fire was brought under control, and all searches were completed. No injuries were reported, and a fire investigator attended.
