REGINA — A Regina Police Service says a 43-year-old man is facing a charge of arson following a fire at a Regina condominium complex.
Mark Levesque is charged with arson with disregard for human life
Police say that on Feb. 27, at approximately 5:45 p.m., they assisted Regina Fire and Protective Services (RFPS) in responding to a report of a fire at a condo complex in the 300 block of Angus Street. Upon arrival, firefighters observed one unit fully engulfed in flames.
An investigation by RFPS determined that the fire was not accidental, and the Regina Police Service, in conjunction with RFPS, identified and charged a suspect. He made his first appearance on this charge in Regina Provincial Court on Tuesday, April 7.
