UNITY — The Unity RCMP responded to the following calls during the week of March 31 to April 6.
RCMP received a report of a vehicle on fire in Unity. Members attended, but the fire was already extinguished by the vehicle owner. No further police action required.
Members completed a next of kin notification at the request of the Saskatoon Police Service.
Police acted as mediators in a child custody dispute.
RCMP received a complaint of an individual breaching a probation order. This matter is still under investigation.
Members received a report of a deceased dog in the ditch near the cemetery in Unity. The animal owner was not located, and no offence was noted by police.
Police received a complaint of an individual obtaining lodging by fraud. This matter is still under investigation.
There were also five traffic complaints.
