WEYBURN — The Weyburn RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance with a theft that occurred in Stoughton.
According to a message from the Saskatchewan RCMP’s media relations, an investigation determined an individual left their bank card in an ATM in Stoughton on the morning of March 3. A short time later, the individual observed unauthorized transactions on their bank account.
As part of the investigation, the RCMP said officers checked the surrounding area for witnesses and video. The RCMP said it collected footage of a man using the card at the business where it was originally stolen in Stoughton. According to the RCMP, there is no longer an investigative reason to release photos of the suspect. Further updates will be provided once available.
