REGINA — A Regina woman has been charged following a robbery investigation on Dewdney Avenue.
Police say officers were alerted to the incident at about 9:40 a.m. on April 7. They were flagged down by individuals in the 2700 block of Dewdney Avenue, where they learned a victim had been robbed and pushed to the ground, causing their head to strike the pavement.
The suspect was last seen fleeing eastbound toward Albert Street.
EMS attended the scene, but the victim declined transport to hospital.
Shortly afterward, officers located a woman matching the suspect description in the 1600 block of Angus Street and arrested her without incident.
Twenty-four year old is charged with robbery.
She is scheduled to make her first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on May 19.
None of the allegations have been proven in court.
