The Regina Red Sox have announced two more additions to their 2026 roster, signing utility player Alex Roux and outfielder Isaac Low.
Roux, from Mandeville, La., is hitting .374 with three home runs, 18 runs batted in and 10 stolen bases for Spring Hill College (NCAA Division II) in Mobile, Ala.
Primarily playing right field this season, Roux has also been deployed as an infielder throughout his career. He transferred to Spring Hill from Nicholls State University where he played one year after three campaigns at Nunez Community College.
“Alex is a senior who can flat-out hit,” Red Sox field manager Rye Pothakos said in a news release. “He plays the game hard, makes consistent, solid contact, and is a tough out every time he steps to the plate. He’s also an RBI producer and will be a strong addition to our lineup this summer.”
Low, originally from Littleton, Colo., is a freshman at Mesa Community College (Mesa, Ariz.) and has a .430 on-base percentage, nine doubles, two triples and 34 RBI through 43 games this season.
“Isaac is a freshman at Mesa who swings the bat like an upperclassman,” said Pothakos. “He makes solid contact and plays the game the right way. He’s a tall, athletic player who brings energy to the field and will be a great addition to our outfield.”
