REGINA — Update: Regina police released video of the suspect in an arson investigation.
Original story: The Regina Police Service is investigating an arson that occurred early Saturday morning.
At approximately 12 a.m., police were dispatched to the 4600 block of Mutrie Crescent for a report of a vehicle fire in the driveway of a residence. Upon arrival, officers observed the vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
Officers were able to extinguish the fire using the extinguisher from their patrol vehicle prior to the arrival of Regina Fire and Protective Services. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time.
