SASKATOON — A 24-year-old man is facing multiple weapon-related charges after police found two knives in his jacket during a disturbance call on Saturday morning in Confederation area.
Officers were called to a business in the 300 block of Confederation Drive for a report of a disturbance. Further information indicated a female was allegedly attempting to steal merchandise and another male approached and threatened a security guard.
Saskatoon Police Service officers located and arrested both suspects.
The 24-year-old man has been charged with two counts of possession of a weapon and two counts of carrying a concealed weapon. The woman was released without charges.
