SASKATOON — Three people are facing robbery charges after a 54-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed downtown in the 200 block of 1st Avenue South on Friday afternoon.
Saskatoon police say they were called to the scene at about 2:40 p.m. on April 10. The victim reported that she was standing outside a building when she was attacked by two unknown women and a man. The suspects then stole her personal belongings and fled on foot.
Responding officers were able to locate all three still in the area, based on their descriptions.
The women, ages 20 and 33 and the man, age 43 are all facing charges of robbery. They were released on an undertaking with court appearances set for May 25.
