YORKTON — A Calder man who stood trial in November in connection with a death in that area will have to wait a little while longer to learn his fate.
In June 2023, Mounties were called to a home in the Calder district to conduct a wellness check on 61-year-old Bentley Baumung (Bombing), and he was found dead.
The next day, 50-year-old Curtis Sokoloski was arrested in Russell and charged with second-degree murder and committing an indignity to a human body.
In Yorkton Court of King’s Bench on April 13, the judge adjourned a decision on the case to June 8.
