REGINA — The owners of a slippery five-year-old husky are considering how to keep her from making a third escape to get to her beloved doggy daycare.
They say Missy dug under a fence at their Regina home this week, then ran off to her usual weekday destination.
It was the second time the pet made the kilometre-long trek on her own to Spot's Place.
Staff there say they were woefully surprised when Missy appeared on their doorstep, tail wagging and jumping as she was let in.
One of her owners routinely takes her to the pet boarding and grooming site by bike, and they assume Missy took the same route on her getaway and another some months prior.
Staff gave her a complimentary bath before letting her join her best friend Shaggy — the likely goal of the escapade.
The owners and staff say they're all happy Missy made it to the daycare safely.
